David, there is a bunch of ribbon snakes around our place as we have six water gardens. We also have several coral snakes that live in the gardens here as well.
Oh, I've had a toad go missing lately...I dare not think about it...I agree with the others, how can this ribbon snake even move? Your wife must have been thrilled to capture this!
Hmmm, that looks like an awful lot of frogs could be in there! I love that photo.
ReplyDeleteCool and yet makes my skin crawl:)
ReplyDeleteAt least your favorite ribbon snake appears to still be there! I'm sure it will help you look...
ReplyDeleteThank you Garden Lily, my wife took that photo.
ReplyDeleteWow! what a shot. Are you sure it wasn't a rat! Whatever it was it was quite a meal.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how fast the snake can move now...
ReplyDeleteAwesome shot, Bob's wife. RIP little froggy (cue Disney song about the Circle of Life....).
ReplyDeleteThat's one beautiful snake. Does it live on your place, or just pass through on the way to somewhere else?
